JD Option in Law and Technology
The Law & Technology Option is available to all JD students currently registered at the Faculty of Law and provides recognition for rigorous training in the technology law field. By being awarded the Law & Technology Option, students have their specialization recognized with an annotation on their transcript.

LLM Concentration in Law and Technology
The Faculty of Law offers a graduate program for LLM students with a Concentration in Law & Technology. In addition, we supervise PhD students who focus on topics in the areas of Law & Technology. For more information, please visit the website for Graduate Studies in Law.
First-Year Research Assistantship Program
The Student Research Assistantship Program was developed to provide University of Ottawa law students with financial assistance, to cultivate mentoring relationships, and to offer an early opportunity to work with faculty from the Centre for Law, Technology and Society on current research initiatives.
This program is exclusively for 1st year law students. Selected students will receive $1000 remuneration for their work.
Students may submit applications starting in November. Selected students will be advised of their professor placement in December. Research will be carried out during the January and Winter 2010 semester as coordinated by your supervisor.
